2009 Bake Sale Highlights

2009, the first year of the annual Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale, has been a tremendous success—all because of the amazing creativity, spirit, dedication, hard work, and talent of the bake sale organizers and volunteers. Each bake sale was distinct and had its own flavor. So far, we've raised at least 25,000 dollars for worthy causes and probably introduced nearly that many people to the possibilities of veganism. Here are some highlights!

British Columbia Vancouver Mango-coconut danishes, chocolate-hazelnut-raspberry danishes, mint-chocolate oreo cake, and a dazzling array of other wonderful treats... Florida Orlando The Orlando bake sale raised money for Pet Rescue by Judy. It featured a variety of goodies, including dog treats, which sold out quickly. Two dogs from the rescue group who were available for adoption were at the bake sale, and one found a home!
